Rochester on Tour
Innovating Growth! That’s what Rochester is doing as one of the fastest growing areas in the State of Minnesota, and also the theme of Rochester on Tour at the state capitol in St. Paul on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013. Join us as we rally and show support for our community to the legislators in St. Paul.
This will be our 10th annual Rochester on Tour, and this year’s is just as important as our first. There are new legislators who don’t know much about us – it’s important we educate them so they understand the value we bring to the rest of the state and why we are a good investment.
Please join us for an exciting day that includes a Rochester Community Luncheon, informative issue sessions, tours of the state capitol and history museum, and a Grand Reception in St. Paul.
Luncheon Keynote speaker: Gov. Dayton's Chief of Staff, Tina Flint Smith.
Smith previously served as Chief of Staff to Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and has diverse experience in the business and nonprofit sectors. Tina started her career at General Mills, founded a marketing and communications firm that served foundations and businesses in Minnesota and across the country, and is a veteran of dozens of local, state and national political campaigns
