ABOUT LEMONADE DAY
Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches local youth entrepreneurial and life skills as they learn how to start their very own business. Learn how to develop a business and experience all the aspects of developing and maintaining a business such as creating a product, establishing a budget, designing a marketing plan, and so much more!The foremost objective of Lemonade Day is to empower youth to take ownership of their lives and become productive members of society – the business leaders, social advocates, volunteers, and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Each child that registers receives access to the Lemonade Day curriculum, either via workbook or My Lemonade Day app, that teaches them lessons like creating budgets, setting profit-making goals, serving customers, repaying investors, and giving back to the community. Along the way, they acquire skills in goal-setting, problem solving, and gain self-esteem critical for future success. They keep all the money they make and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some.

Once you register you will get an email explaining the next steps, including how and where to pick up your supplies!

Going on vacation or away from Rochester during Lemonade Day on June 7? No worries, Lemonade Day is about the journey and the process! We encourage you to make your lemonade stand work within your family's plans.

Join our Lemonade Day Facebook and Lemonade Day Instagram page for updates and information. We will also be sending out emails as we get closer to June with tips and tricks, lemonade recipe ideas and more! Be sure to share this event with your friends, family and co-workers!

Sweet Spot: Become a Sweet Spot for a young entrepreneur! The Sweet Spot Program is designed to help youth entrepreneurs sign up for high-traffic locations on a city’s Lemonade Day. Sweet Spots are created through business partnerships throughout the city to help youth achieve sweet success! Once you sign up you will be added to a list that will be given to the participants! Sending in this document does not guarantee you have a youth with a stand outside of your business. It is the responsibility of the youth to reach out for permission to set up their stand outside of your business.
